By teaching you the principles of spatial awareness, I will give you the timing to predict your opponent’s attacks and defend yourself from faster attackers. I will also teach you how to prevent attacks and deescalate situations when possible. I will give you the confidence to experience uncertain environments with the intelligence that comes with reduced anxiety.
By teaching you the principles of movement optimization, I will teach you to use your entire body to maximize the power of every strike while minimizing fatigue in individual muscles. I will teach you to use breathing to facilitate sharper, more powerful strikes and how to use preexisting motion to strike while evading or blocking. Unlike traditional martial arts courses, you will leave each session from the very first with applicable knowledge and techniques.
